It really was ridiculous. Methos looked down at the lifeless body in disgust and nudged it with the toe of his boot in an effort to make it breathe. All he wanted was a bit of quiet during his vacation. Was that too much to ask?

And to make it worse, the guy was a new Immortal.

...and a cop.

God dammit! His day was just getting worse by the minute. For a moment, he entertained the thought of leaving the man to figure out his new life by himself. Unfortunately, a voice in the back of his mind [which sounded suspiciously like a certain boyscout he knew] jabbed and prodded at him to bring the man somewhere relatively safe. Maybe he should start looking into whether or not MacLeod's penchant for trouble was contagious and perhaps a possible cure.
