Fox Tails

When sounds of fighting in the hall reached her ears, Tsunade immediately put down her pen and went on the defensive, 4 kunai at the ready. One of the anbu crashed straight through the door followed by a dark cloaked figure wearing a conical hat.
Another anbu attempted to kick the intruder in the face when she saw the familiar whisker scarred cheeks from beneath the hat. "Naruto?!"
Several cries of, "Hokage-sama!" went up as her office exploded in chaos.
"Get off me you bastards!" Naruto snarled.
Tsunade slammed her hands on the desk, chair crashing to the floor. "Everyone except for Naruto, OUT!" Her authoritarian voice easily cut through the scuffle breaking out in the middle of the room, making everyone freeze. "OUT! Now!!"
Everyone disappeared as quickly as they could, not wanting to inherit the rage of the Godaime. The kunoichi sighed and massaged her temples. God, she was getting too old for this.
"I told you I belonged here!" The young jounin pulled down his lower eyelid and blew them a raspberry.
"Naruto! What are you doing here?" Tsunade demanded. She had sent the boy [more like young man, but still ten times the brat he used to be], on a week long mission just 4 days ago. She shouldn't even be hearing from the ninja until another day or so. "Why are you wearing that ridiculous outfit? Where is Shikamaru?"
"I had to wrap it up early when I got into a slight...problem," Naruto said a bit sheepishly as he took off his straw hat and cloak.
It took everything in Tsunade to keep breathing when she saw the twitching fox ears and nervously swishing tail. "Why do you get into the strangest problems?" she sighed and rubbed her face tiredly.
"I'd like to know the answer to that too," the blonde added with a sardonic grin.
