Should anyone ever ask about the instigator of their bizarre little relationship, Ishida was going to immediately point fingers at Ichigo. The spiky haired boy was so strangely magnetizing in his ways that one could not help but get attracted to him. A un-shinigami like shinigami with his too-bright orange hair and eternal furrow between his eyes – it was hard not to notice him.

So when Ichigo pinned him to the wall in anger (ranting about Ishida’s irrationality in jumping in front of a Hallow unprepared to protect himself), Ishida pulled him closer. He saw brown eyes widen in surprise just before he kissed the downwardly turned mouth. Really, there were better things they could be doing instead of arguing.
